I almost forgot... The automotive industry update for 2005. Bleak! GM is going to have 5 of their truck plants down the first two to three weeks of January. This is bad people, really bad. I still think the guys in scheduling are to blame. It is going to be a rough year here in Detroit.
Almost a month since I last posted... The big week of shut down is coming quick. For those of you who don't know, the big three shut down all of thier plants the week of Christmas. Yep, just like the first two weeks of July. I am lucky enough to be off that week too. I am suppose to fly out Thursday night and guess what the weather man is saying? A foot of snow, 12 inches+. Just my luck. I had a trip scheduled just after 9/11 that was cancelled. I was at the airport when the electricity went out for the blackout, I made the trip, but a day later. Now they are predicting a foot of snow the day I a suppose to go on this trip. I think I am jinxed. Good thing I don't travel too much.
